I forgot to mention that we decided to take the day off and enjoy our anniversary a day early and go to Elitch's. We both couldn't remember the last time we had been there, but its definetly been a long time! We got down there late morning and it ended up being the perfect time to go as the weather was overcast and it drizzled every now and then. We decided to start out on the Mind Eraser. We didn't have to wait in line any more than a minute at each ride, so we got on, rode it and after we were finished with that ride, I had such an adreneline rush and felt somewhat queesy, but ready for more! Next was the Tower or Doom, that one didn't seem to bug me as much. On the 3rd ride, which was the Boomerang, we got right on once again and that's when all the 'fun' started. After the ride finished, I had this horrible sick feeling and felt like throwing up. I warned Chad and ran for the exit and luckily there was a grassy area next to it and lost all my breakfast, ugh...I hate that feeling, but felt somewhat better and decided after 3 back to back rides, we needed to rest as I was still pretty queesy. After deciding we had rode all the rides we wanted too in a very short amount of time and not feeling too hot, we decided we would head back home. I felt terrible as I didn't want to bum Chad out, but he was perfectly content with all we had done and was ready too. We had rode light rail down and got back on it to go back home and the motion must have got to me again. I needed to throw up again and as we were approaching the first stop from Six Flags, which is Invesco, I couldn't wait and slightly lost my stomach again in my hand and then again right after we got off the light rail. We were both joking about how long it would take to get home if this kept up! Luckily we caught the next train and made it back to the Lincoln stop where the car was parked and headed home. As we got in Chad's car, I once AGAIN needed to throw up again and did and thankfully that was the last time as I had nothing more to throw up. We decided to grab some quick lunch at Subway and go home and take it easy the rest of the afternoon. I definetly felt better after eating lunch and we took the rest of the day easy and finally got caught up on 24. I really think my amusement park days are over, its hard to believe....I use to have no problem with it, but that must have changed as I've had kids and aged...darn! My mom was the same way she said. I really enjoy the adreneline rush, but I think I need to accept that its no longer something I can do and enjoy my kids and Chad having fun. No wonder I see all these older people and Mom's on the sidelines watching their kids ride, that should of been my first clue! We also joked how we probably one of the older people at the park that day, we so wanted to keep up with those crazy teenagers and kids, but oh well, at least Chad still can enjoy it and our kids will soon too! So my picture also today is of the Boomerang and the memories I will have of it!
