Well, today was the first full day of having the kids gone for an entire 5 days, yikes! I took them to Ft. Morgan yesterday to meet Brit and Becky and sent them on their first official trip without us to Wray! Brit is a preschool teacher at the school and is out for the summer and has mentioned she would love to keep them for a little while this summer, so I figured we would try this week. The minute I left to come back to Denver without them, it was such an empty, weird feeling. Braylon got to go to Wray last summer without us for 2 days and Bryn's never been without us more than overnight, so this was a huge step for us to take, but know we both needed a break and to catch up on things around the house! While I don't know what the heck we did before we had kids, we sure can get things done twice as fast around here and enjoy eating in peace! The kids of course are having a blast with all their relatives and getting to go to the pool for the first time this summer and to the park and many other outings, its so nice to know they are having fun and also comforting to know that they are in excellent hands! We have been checking in quite a bit throughout the day and getting pics and videos sent and stories of them too, so here's the cute pic of the day that I was sent! Bryn in pigtails and a necklace that her aunts helped make for her!
