Fall

I have to say my favorite season of all is fall, I love everything about it, from the trees changing color, to the cooler temperatures, pumpkin everything, halloween, caramel apples, caramel apple ciders and hot drink cravings at Starbucks, etc...you name it, it makes me happy! Today is totally reminding me that it is not far away, it officially begins 2 weeks from today! I lvoe fall so much, that I actually made my new blog layout fall colors and eventually our master bathroom will be painted and decorated as a fall theme, stay tuned for pictures! YEAH!! This past week has been super busy and lots of fun! The kids and I have been blessed to get to know the neighbors 3 houses up from us this past week. We've been having playdates at the park and enjoying the outdoors. Their kids are 3 and 18 months, so very similiar in age and its been SO good for Braylon to be around other kids and learn from them. In fact, this week at the park, the 3 year year old girl ran into Bray at the bottom of the slide and she had to tell Bray she was 'sorry', so this week out of the blue while I was doing something, he started saying 'sorry'! It was so darn cute and he's added another word to his vocabulary! This past weekend was good as well. Friday night we went to the mall to use Chad's gift card from his birthday, had some dinner, went to a Halloween store and went to Babies R' Us to get a baby gift for a friend. I have to say that I am so amazed how baby stuff has changed SO SO much in almost 2 years time. I was having a blast checking it all out and was kind of sad, why couldn't they have this cute of stuff when Bray was born? so not fair! :) anyways, I could spend all day in that place and could also have 10 kids if Chad would let me, but I have to contain myself!! Saturday, we had our community garage sale, so I got Bray some more books to read, he is so into books right now and I need to keep adding to his collection! Its always fun when you find good deals! Sunday was such a fun day! My brother, Jason and his girlfriend invited us to go see her horse that she keeps boarded at a horse barn just outside of Parker. Since I couldn't get Chad off the couch from watching football, the kids and I and Jason and Sarah drove to the horse barn and I must tell you, it brought back such good memories of my childhood, growing up on a ranch and farm. I'm so excited to see my kids soak it all in and meet her horse, get to ride it and enjoy a little bit of the country life! There's nothing better than that! This horse barn is southeast of Parker and its the most beautiful drive out there and we had the most amazing view of Pikes Peak, I could of stayed out there all day and you couldn't of asked for a more beautiful day too! The kids had a lot of fun and so did I! It was a great weekend, Chad enjoyed watching almost every game possible (college and pro) as always, and I enjoyed a few games (go BLUE!) and am excited to see the Broncos reg. season opener tonight vs. Raiders, should be a good game and yet another good week for us!
