We have been very blessed this week with many new things in this house. For the past few months our washer has been leaking. We knew we were going to have to get a new pair really soon, but wanted to hold out until we could save up a little and maybe something really good would come on Black Friday. Sure enough, we found the ones we wanted on BF and they were to be delived by the end of the weekend. Our laundry area is very small and it was one of the 2 rooms we had not tackled painting yet. I decided after the kids went to bed that I would paint it and make it look somewhat decent for the new units! The guys took out a really gross shelf I had in there and eventually once we have them in, we will come up with a new shelving unit. I finally finished up the area about midnight last night. I haven't painted anything since before the kids were born, so it was really nice to do that! I never really enjoyed it in the past, but now its kind of theraputic to me, I know that sounds crazy! I like the fact that I can put color on the wall and accomplish something that makes our house look a little better at the same time! I also say, I'm much more happier when I can do it without the help of my hubby. Usually that's not the case, I really do like to do most things with him, but this project is an exception! Sorry hubby!! He has to nit pick at every little thing and drives me bananas, so I sent him to Shawn's while I got to enjoy myself! These are the before pics and I will update this when we have them in and the shelving all up to see a before and after!
