This morning, Chad and I started it way too early trying out our chances at some Black Friday specials. Shawn & Alissa came over to help us out, Alissa stayed at the house while the kids slept and Shawn helped us shop! I think I got the easiest shop that day from what it sounded like with where the guys went! I started at Walmart as they had a few items I wanted to try to snag for the kids gifts. I ended up getting everything I needed too! I was very impressed at how organized and together Walmart seemed to have it, it was a nice bonus that they are open 24/7 and there weren't massive crowds waiting outside like at Target, Best Buy & Ultimate Electronics, where I sent the guys too! The guys did end up scoring everything else we had hoped to get plus a few more, so all in all it was a very successful day and I'm so excited for the kids to see what we got them! One of their early Christmas gifts was a new DVD system for our car. Our old one recently bit the dust. I had spotted these as a doorbuster special at Target on Black Friday, so luckily Chad got the last one apparently! The kids LOVE them, a bit spoiled as they have their own tv now. We had to move Bray's carseat so he could see it, which was a good thing, because ever since we've had them they have been right next to each other. That has worked really well until these last few months when they decide to pick on each other and make each other mad and us always saying the famous words that came out of our own parents mouth I'm sure: "keep your hands to yourselfs'! Never imagined I would already be saying that!
