At 10:42am this morning, Brynley officially turned 3 years old! In looking back at a year ago, she has grown tremendously in just a year! Her hair especially, I can’t believe how long its getting! Her personality is pretty cute, her and Bray definetly are so different in so many areas! She is a strong-willed little girl, Daddy’s girl and pretty darn independent these days! She tells me she is excited to get to go to preschool next year like her big brother, she’s a master at her ABC’s and numbers and we’ve conquered the biggest milestone of all, POTTY TRAINING!! She has been doing amazing with it! She is just growing up too fast, some of the things she will tell me, I just stop and think, are you old enough to really say that yet? She will tell you how it is! She is pretty shy at first when she meets someone, it does take her awhile to warm up to someone, but when she does, watch out! She is very much into the Disney princesses as well. I hope one of these cold weekends this winter, we can redo her room and give her a Princess room! She is also into Jessie, the cowgirl from Toy Story, so its cute to see her pretend to be her as well! Now, we are starting to get into Dora the Explorer, because her brother loves Diego now, that is cute to see! She has nothing to do with me combing her hair. It’s a daily battle with her. She gets a very sensitive head from me! I know how it is, so I try to be as gentle as possible, but sometimes those tangles are a battle. After baths almost every night now, she requests her Daddy to come her hair now! Her favorite buddy right now is Rocco, our neighbor boy I watch. They are two peas in a pod, so fun to watch them play together! She LOVES to go over to their house, in fact I think she’d live there if she had the choice . We always joke with Rocco’s parents that we could just trade kids because Rocco likes ours, Bryn likes theirs! She has her 3 year checkup in about a week and a half, I’m excited to see where she’s at on the growth charts, I’m definetly not worried about her development: communication, gross motor, fine motor, problem solving, personal-social, she seems to excel at all! So funny how a 2nd child is so much more different paced than the 1st! Love you Brynley, you bring so much sunshine into our lives, can’t imagine life without you!!
