Ok, so we've been in our house for almost 8 years now and I can't believe how much we still would like to do, there is always something and the list keeps growing! We have done a ton of work to the inside before we had kids, but since we've had the kids now, not much has been done. I've been wanting a garden for awhile now and the kids really need entertainment in the backyard too, so we know that we have a lot of work to do outside this summer, which is fine, I love doing that kind of stuff and being outside! Tonight after Chad got home, we started tearing up some grass where we don't need it and putting rock over it. Next will come working to get the garden put in, after that we have to replace all the metal edging in our backyard as it has deteriated and needs replaced now that we have 2 little ones roaming back there now! After that is all said and done we hope to put in a little sandbox for the kids as well. There isn't much but a playhouse in the back, so they are getting pretty bored! We have an opportunity to get a swing set from our neighbor, but are still deciding if we are going to have room for it all!Eventually, when Bray gets potty trained, he will get a trampoline, his favorite thing ever! These 2 pics are the before and after of the area we worked on tonight, which will be filled in with rocks, eventually would like to put in a couple trees.
