Project 365
As some of you may know, I follow my scrapbooking 'idol', Becky Higgin's, blog regularly. She is amazing, I love her style of scrapbooking and if I could spend the day with her, it would be out of this world for me! :) I got the chance to meet her back in 2003 when a few coworkers of mine and I took a roadtrip to Utah to a scrapbooking convention. I did take a few classes of hers and even got a picture with her, yes, I'm a geek! Anyways, she recently blogged about a new project/idea that she came up with and will be on sale at the first of the year. Its called Project 365. The concept is about taking a photo of something that represents your everyday life and putting a binder together that contains premade journaling paper and accents/embellishments for your photos you slip into the sheet protectors. I just think this is such a great idea and will hopefully make me a better picture taker and help document our daily lives and I can't wait to finish it and review my project at the end of the year and for years to come! So, I decided that today was the best day to start the project, as its a new week for us and this week begins the new year! I hope that once a week if not more, I can gather all my pictures from the week and put that weeks page together and stay caught up, that's one of my many resolutions for the year! The kit can't be purchased until Jan. 1st, but she stresses that we can begin anytime now and we don't need the kit in hand to begin this project, so our journey begins! Stay tuned for updates on this. Today's photo I decided to take a picture of none other than my computer screen, which shows my blog page. I will journal on my new found hobby and wanted it to be the start of my daily pictures as blogging is where I learned about this new project!

I LOVE this idea and might join you in the prolect. I was also thinking that it would be cool to it virtually on the blog!
sounds good, that makes 2 of you that I've inspired! I will be doing it separetly from my blog as I ordered the kit and just like to put it together so everyone can look at it, I just don't trust the computer that much and its not as much fun for me that way! Good luck!
