Probably one of our harder decisions was choosing a carpet for the basement. Luckily we have a good friend that is in that business and told us what was good and what wasn’t! We ended up with a tannish speckled Stainmaster carpet. There is nothing like the smell of new carpet! We had a bad experience with Home Depot for our carpet that is on our main level and upstairs, so we certainly didn’t want to go through that again, and we learned from our friend that those are the last places to get carpet from. I think all of us did “carpet angels’ in the carpet when it was complete, such a great change from the not so great carpet we have on our main level and upstairs and the wood flooring…we are loving it!
