Holy cow, 9 years?!? It really just seems like yesterday we were married! We've learned and experienced SO very much during these 9 years married, almost 15 together! There's no doubt that we've had our shares of ups and downs just as any couple would, we are far from perfect and always trying to be better 'teammates' to each other! I say 'teammates' because the other day I read somewhere where God is our coach and we are his teammates, how awesome is that? ;-) It is SO easy to get caught up in everyday stresses,especially with kids now and feel like you aren't giving it 110%. It has helped tremendously to have our date nights every 2 weeks, we really look forward to them! Being married at a young age, we have definetly grown and matured in our marriage and learned from our mistakes! I feel we are in such a great place right now and I'm really excited to celebrate such a big milestone next year and hoping we can get in shape and celebrate in Hawaii!
Tonight would of been our normal date night out, so it worked out good! Shawn and Alissa were able to watch the kids while we went to Maggiano's and then to a movie, (which was lame), but oh well! We had a great night and its always fun to reminsice about our wedding day and where the last 9 years has taken us! We didn't get a pic from tonight, but here's some from the big day and one recent one!
