What a crazy summer we are having weather wise. We had a terrible hail storm a few weeks ago and I thought maybe that would be it for the summer, but wishful thinking. At around 3:30 today we got POUNDED with tons of hail and downpour of rain, they were saying anywhere from 2-3 inches of rain fell. Definetly worse than the storm a few weeks ago and overall probably the worst hail storm we've seen since living in Parker and hopefully the last. Our garden took a huge beating, not sure if it will survive the 2nd storm. :( For the first time since we've lived in our house we got some water in our basement. It leaked through one our windows and made for a fun cleanup, not.. :( Now I know why I chose to get Chad a shopvac for Father's Day, it was put to good use for the 1st time sucking up water and it worked really good!
