Its becoming very common this week to have huge thunderstorms in the afternoon. Today happened to be day 1 of installation of new windows in our house and of course it has to hail. I saw the dark blue skies in the west and kept thinking if I needed to cover what I could in the garden, but I didn't and I could of kicked myself so hard for it. All of a sudden early this afternoon, the hail comes in with a fierce force and I felt so sick to my stomach. It didn't do any damage that we know of yet. We have a call in to our insurance agent about our roof, but mainly just leaves everywhere, tons of standing water and I'm hoping a garden that will bounce back, it took a beating but the most of them look like maybe they will survive, I sure hope so. Its so sickening after you've put tons of work and money into something and it can be gone in an instant, next time I'll know better and cover as much as I can!
