As they years go by and grows bigger, people have different schedules and busy lives, it gets harder and harder to try to get together for the holidays. I know in my family, we had to reschedule a few times and we all (but 1) were able to get together after Christmas and celebrate! The past few years, we've made it tradition and much easier on mom and I to forget the cooking and go out to a restaurant and enjoy ourselves! Sometimes after dinner we will do something fun, like bowling last year, but this year, we decided to skip that. This year we chose a mexican restaurant off of Broadway called Blue Bonnet. My parents and Chad had been there once before and said it was good, so we decided to go with that. It ended up being a pretty good place, not what I had expected as outstanding from reviews I had read, but it was still yummy, you really can't go wrong with Mexican food! After dinner, we headed home and my brother followed us home to come stay the night and give the kids their gifts! All in all, it was a good time!
