Today was a big day for us, we were celebrating the kids birthdays. For now and hopefully maybe 1 more year, we can get away with this before they start wanting their own parties! We chose the theme, Curious George as they both love that character! As much as I'm a procrastinator and get easily stressed out, planning the kids parties is such a fun thing for me to get to do! I wanted to make it simple and fun as they are still a little young for anything complex. They had 8 of their friends over along with all the parents and most of our families there. Our house goes from being normal to chaotic and cramped in no time! The kids got tatoos when they arrived, we played a 'pin the tail' game, had a pinata, ate cake and ice cream and opened gifts. All in all it was a great time! Next year however, I think we will do what we did for them last year which was have it somewhere else besides our house! Its just nice to go somewhere to not have to clean up and the kids can be more entertained too!
