09.24.09

We make it a tradition about every night after dinner to take the kids around the block, either they ride in the wagon or Braylon rides his tricycle and Bryn rides in the wagon. Its such nice family 'outing' that we look forward to every night. Well, this week has been pretty chilly and now that its no longer summer, that tradition has to have a backup plan! Now that I am working out of the home and not able to leave to go places during the day, the kids are pretty antzy by the time Chad gets home to go somewhere. Usually there is an errand I need to run which ends up being perfect, but then there are days like these that I really don't need to go anywhere. I told the kids I would take them around the block to get some fresh air since today was a little nicer. Bray was not having that and in the saddest most cutest face ever, he said, "No Mommy, ride in the car!" I just couldn't resist and decided to drive them around a short distance to make him happy and that he was! Ok, so this picture is a little different, but I saw one of my favorite scrapbooking 'icons' try a picture like this, so I decided to give it a try! Not as good as hers of course because I think this picture takes some Photoshopping which I still need to learn to do, but for the time being it works! P.S. Don't worry, I wasn't driving when I took this, I was stopped at a light!

Let me know if you do decide to get into Photoshop or some other image editing program. I might have some tips or book suggestions for you to make the learning curve a little shorter than it was for me.

thanks Chris, i will keep that in mind when I try it out one of these days! Chad actually has Elements 6 on his computer which is so much more newer than mine! He really likes it, its just a matter of me finding time and him having patience to teach me too! ha! I hear all kinds of awesome things about it!
